Submarine Sweetie Boutique is a heart song played out loud and a daughter’s dream realized. My mission is simple: To create and share joy in everything I make and do, and to do it all with love, care and excellence. As a submariner’s spouse and mom of 3, I find inspiration in the beautiful sights, colors, and sounds that surround us in the happiest and proudest moments of our Navy life. I am blessed to have this amazing venue to share what I do with you.

I have been a crafter and maker since childhood and rely heavily on the skills my Mom taught me when I was growing up to create what you will find in our Boutique. I constantly work to improve my techniques and products, just as Mom would have. Before being diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s Disease in her mid-50s (now living with a different form of dementia in her early 60s) my Mom was an artist, photographer, and a writer. She was the heart of our family. Though this Boutique is a “me” effort (with me as the primary creator), it serves as a tribute to my Mom, her passion for creativity, and our shared love of making. It is a “we” venture in my heart, and I put a little bit of her influence into everything I do.

It gives me great pleasure to create these handcrafted and digitally designed goods for you. I hope they bring you as much JOY in their use as they bring me in the creation process.
